Terms of Use

Effective date: October 16, 2026
Last updated: October 16, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of trainbackconsulting.com (the “Site”), which is operated by TrainBack Consulting (“TrainBack,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

The Site provides general information about California’s Employment Training Panel (“ETP”) training funding, along with tools such as an eligibility checker and a reimbursement estimator. TrainBack is an independent consultancy. We are not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with the State of California or the Employment Training Panel.

2. No legal, tax or financial advice

The information and tools on the Site are for general guidance only. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and using the Site does not create an attorney-client, advisory or other professional relationship with us. You should confirm program rules, rates and requirements directly with ETP and consult your own advisers before making decisions.

3. Estimates and screening results are not guarantees

The eligibility checker and the reimbursement estimator are illustrations based on published program information and the answers you provide. They are not an ETP determination, a quote, or a promise of approval or funding. Actual eligibility, rates, hours, caps and payment depend on ETP’s rules at the time, the approved contract, and your company’s facts. Program rules and rates change, and we do not guarantee that information on the Site is current or complete.

4. Our services are provided only under a written agreement

Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services on specific terms. If you engage us, our services, fees and responsibilities will be set out in a separate written agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

5. Your responsibilities

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrainBack and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funding or lost business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or from reliance on its content.
