TrainBack Consulting

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026
Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TrainBack Consulting (“TrainBack,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit trainbackconsulting.com (the “Site”) or contact us. We help California employers apply for training funding through the Employment Training Panel. We are an independent consultancy and are not affiliated with the State of California or the Employment Training Panel.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you request a report or contact us, we collect your name, work email address, company name, the approximate number of people you employ in California, and anything you choose to tell us in a message.

Screening and estimate answers. The eligibility checker and estimator run in your browser. We receive your answers (for example, whether the business is for-profit, whether employees are full-time, turnover, the kind of training planned, company size, and your estimator inputs) only if you submit the report request form.

Technical information. Our website host and related services automatically receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. [If we add analytics tools, we will list them here and describe what they collect.]

Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank or payment card numbers, or passwords through this Site or by email.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as described here:

4. Cookies and Do Not Track

[Draft note: update this section if you add analytics or advertising tools.] The Site does not currently use cookies to track you across other websites. Some third-party services we use may set cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver the Site. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through our Site for their own purposes.
